The Resilient Beauty of the Chinese Money Plant: My Personal Journey
I care for about 50 or 60 plants, but one of my favorites is the seemingly most unassuming of them all, the Chinese Money Plant. The Chinese Money Plant is really very easy to care for. It especially likes water and will survive almost as long as there is water.
When I plant my Chinese Money Plant, I usually put a thin layer of garden soil at the bottom of the container, which helps it root better. Of course, if you prefer a cleaner approach, it’s okay to just use water. In the office, I use a small rice bowl to grow it, without soil. I just casually pull a thin vine and put it in with tap water. Not long after, it took root and sprouted, growing particularly beautifully. So, the life force of the Chinese Money Plant is really very tough.

The winters in northern China are so severe that the plants I put outside all withered away. But in the past few days, as the weather warmed up, I found that the outdoor pots were sprouting dense, tiny, round, lovely leaves. They had survived the cold winter and were beginning to come to life again.

The Chinese Money Plant requires very little in terms of containers. Both large and small ones will do, and it reproduces well. Randomly pull off one, put it in any environment, and it can grow lush. Especially on a desk, it can add infinite vitality to the space, making it a very beautiful scenery.
The Chinese Money Plant is a sun-loving plant. If you let it bask in the sun regularly, its plant will grow more beautifully and its leaves will be bigger. The shape of the plant resembles copper coins, so it symbolizes prosperity. Its leaves are round and full, bright green in color, elegant and charming in appearance. Belonging to the INS style plant category, it has high ornamental value.
